Music has always been a part of the Rodriguez family’s life. Rachel’s father, Ray Rodriguez, was definitely her first and biggest influence. It was he who instilled in her his strong work ethic and emphasis on preparedness. It was clear early on that Rachel was a musical force to be reckoned with. At an early age, Rachel began singing and dancing at local festivals, fairs, talent shows, etc…in her home state of Michigan. By the time she was in high school, she had joined her father’s band and really began to hone her skills.
